Last month, we have moved the davis radiation shield to the above the edge of verandah transparency roof for more better airflow to measure temperature/humidity more accurate since it was in the backyard with shelter and too much plants nearby which it makes the reading too high or too low during the day and night. |
The weather station I own is Davis Weather Monitor II and the program I am using is Davis Weatherlink 4.04. We have had our anemometer up at the top of 10m standard pole since 29th of June 2001 Our Anemometer stopped working for two afternoon on January 2001 last year and then it died on August 2001 and got a new replacement for it. That was due to problem with the reed switch. Also the data logger has been faulty from late March 2001 to early April 2001. Got a replacement for it. A question is: Are we shelter from the wind? There is an url to the Bureau of Meteorology on how to set up automatic weather stations. Although you don't have to follow these if you don't want to do it depend on your hobby, not the serious weather data collection.
